Creating Context-Sensitive Help

Context-sensitive Help involves associating topics in your Help project with specific items in a software application. The two most popular methods of making this association are to either have the Help author supply the application developer with topic ID numbers, which he uses as part of his application, or to have the developer supply the Help author with context ID numbers. In this second method, the Help author matches the context ID numbers with the topics in the Doc-To-Help project editor. For more information, see Adding Context IDs With the Topic Properties Toolbar.
